About Us

Danielle Gatapia is a third-year law student at University of Missouri-Kansas City. While in law school, she has been assisting on a habeas petition with other Missouri attorneys and volunteered with UMKC’s Wrongful Convictions Clinic. Danielle is currently a member of the UMKC National Moot Court team, president of the Asian Pacific Islander Law Student Association, and a volunteer child advocate with Jackson County CASA. Prior to law school, Danielle earned a master’s degree in theological studies from Boston College and a bachelor’s degree in art history, classical history, and theology from Creighton University.
