Sydney Ragsdale earned her J.D. at UMKC Law School and was admitted to the Missouri Bar in 2019. While a student, she worked closely with Professor O’Brien in the litigation of innocence cases and assisted me on several successful postconviction evidentiary hearings. She provided significant assistance in the exonerations of Lamonte McIntyre in 2018 and Ricky Kidd in 2019. She was president of the Midwest Innocence Project Student Organization, and she participated in the Mitigation Skills Workshop twice as a clinical student. She is a skilled investigator, and contracts as a freelance private investigator in addition to her legal work.
